From the artist: QuanYin represents compassion in the Buddhist tradition. A bodhisattva who abandoned her own pursuit of the blissful state to aid others in their path to enlightenment, she is often invoked those in need. Quan Yin was a favorite of my mother, who believed compassion is the key to a good life. The image was drawn in charcoal and combined with images of trees I took outside a friend's cabin on the lake the night before his wedding.
A luminous acrylic print that brings soft, weathered charm to your walls. The semi-abstract composition and muted, earthy tones read like a memory—layers of faded paper, gentle washes, and delicate texture—finished under crystal-clear acrylic for depth and luminosity. The white vinyl backing sharpens contrast and keeps colors true, while the hand-polished edges give a clean, refined presence. Hanging is straightforward: a sturdy French cleat system and included screws mean the piece sits flush and secure, whether you choose horizontal or vertical orientation. It’s a quiet, tactile statement that settles into living rooms, entryways, studios, or any space that favors calm, layered visuals.
