From the artist: The supermurder encircles Pittsburgh every day in the winter, renewing its protection and blessing. You can stare at the sky for 15 minutes and see neither the beginning nor the end of the flock. They gather in large numbers only when the weather turns cold, warming their roost with increased numbers. I attempted to capture the selfless awe of the ground observer. Soft light filters through a swirl of clouds as a murmuration of birds cuts across the sky —A single-panel blackout curtain that turns a window into a uplifting, artful moment. Deep blue skies fill the background while layered clouds and clusters of crows sweep across the fabric. The dense polyester weave softens incoming light and muffles the glare, creating a calm, private corner for reading, resting, or reflecting. Hang it on a simple rod pocket and let the rich contrasts anchor a living room accent wall or a quiet bedroom nook. The sewn hem and resilient fabric mean the print keeps its shape and color even after daily use, so the scene stays vivid for seasons to come.
