From the artist: Nighttime I become myself. Quiet moments with the moon, watching the bats and owls, the air cool and comfortable. Time seems so nonsensical. We measure our lives against the whims of celestial bodies, as if one thought, one feeling could adhere to any sense of temporal logic. Time is somehow linked to the gravitational forces that rule the universe, therefore is intangible, intractable. Yet we continue to treat it as a some static constant. As if this rich internal life, we have built, composed of observations, feelings, thoughts, and ideas, and a bundle of various physiological sensations could be measured against the movement of the sun and moon around the Earth.
