From the artist: Longing represents daydreams of a far away place. The place exists only in imagination. It is one of my responses to the pandemic. Like most I fantasized about travelling, taking the Oriental Express and slipping elegantly through mountain climes. There are dozens of images compressed to create this textural exploration.
This light cube lamp brings warm, meditative glow and bold, graphic presence into a room. The cube’s deep rose colored panels are printed with a kaleidoscopic mountainscape motif producing a rich, textured look when lit. Lightweight, matte-coated polyester wraps the simple cube frame, filtering LED or CFL light into a calm ambient wash. Choose a standard cord with integrated plug for movable use on a desk or floor, or a pendant cord for a semi-permanent ceiling installation that brightens a living room, studio, or reading nook. It’s made with care in Latvia and designed to add atmosphere — a moody accent that reads like art by day and becomes a soft, enveloping light at night.

Care instructions
- The lamp comes inside of the box with the shade packed upside down. When you remove it from the box (following the instructions printed on the inner flaps), you remove the plastic ring, remove the shade, turn the shade right side up and then secure it to the socket with the plastic ring again.
- Wipe the dust off gently with a soft, dry cloth.
